“Roamers are always busy roaming“.
Do you drift and keep floating based on your mood or season? Are you roamer ? If you are pressed for time but want to catch a glimpse of the picturesque waterfalls in Urumbikkara then this is the perfect plan for u.
Cherupadam is a cascading waterfall of the roaring beauty “Pappanithodu” that originates high above the hills of Urumbikkara. Cheruapadam gets it’s name because this waterfall considerably splits Pappanithodu into little streams of water, each of which then gushes down to finally fall flat on the ground. Equally contributing to the name is the narrow path that leads us to the waterfall.
Urumbinthoni gets its name because the landscape of the water that falls and drifts away is shaped like a boat!
Urumbi hills has never disappointed anybody. One thing that makes this place stand out is that it holds it’s beauty all the year. The fact that Urumbikkara appeals equally to the young and the old is another speciality.
This will be a one-of-a kind experience of travelling into the insides of dense woods, waking yourselves to the myriad sounds of nature and the wind ruffling your hair will all want you to keep coming back for more.
The trip begins at Yenthayar taking you first to Cherupadam Waterfall. Until here the road is smooth. But you will get to know what’s in store on your way to Urumbinthoni Waterfall!
